White House Kitchen Garden

Michelle Obama and more than two dozen Washington-area fifth-graders broke ground Friday for the first vegetable garden at the White House since Eleanor Roosevelt’s victory garden during World War II.

I thought that was George Bush helping out in the background! Seriously though if the Obamas can show other families that gardening can be a fun experience for the whole family it can only be a good thing.

You are right Daniel, he does resemble the previous president some! I think that is actually a White House chef who was recruited to help when the ground proved a challenging dig.
